I am a freelance Front-End Developer & Web Development Manager, operating internationally.

I have 20 years of experience in the interactive, creative, and marketing industries, with a strong focus on front-end development. Over the past five years, I have led development teams as a Web Development Manager and Team Lead for Chiang Mai Lanna Business Services Ltd. in Thailand, where I ensure that development projects meet business requirements, are delivered on strategy, on time, and within budget.

My role involves collaborating closely with clients and teams from around the world, including a remote team in Germany, to deliver high-quality web applications. I guide team development efforts, mentor developers on front-end technologies, and optimise development processes for efficiency.

Prior to this, I've spent a considerable part of my career as a Senior Front-End Developer, honing my skills with clients such as VisitScotland, where I contributed to their cutting-edge website, helping it achieve 13 million visits a year. My experience with high-profile brands has allowed me to perfect my HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery skills while staying up to date with the latest digital trends.

I also worked as a Senior Front-End Developer at Iglu, collaborating with product owners and designers to create highly performant web solutions, utilising technologies like SCSS, LESS, jQuery, PHP & WordPress. I take pride in my ability to create responsive, interactive, and accessible web applications while ensuring code quality and best practices.

My enthusiasm for web development has granted me the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, including eGroup, Peach Digital, Eastern Western Motor Group, and The Union, where I collaborated on projects for brands like Dalmore Distillery, Jura Whisky, and Whyte & Mackay.

In addition to my hands-on experience, I have earned certifications in Docker - DevOps, CSS with LESS and Sass, and badges in Confluence Fundamentals and Jira Fundamentals. These have equipped me with the skills to manage projects and teams efficiently, as well as keep up with the evolving tech landscape.
